Low or High Charge??

Postby farmallcub49 » Mon Feb 21, 2005 9:34 pm

My local IH guy told me today that if the Voltage Regulator was mounted to the generator that it has botha L and H rate of charge. He said if it was seperate than it is a high rate only. He doesn't own a Cub, but mainly letter series tractors. Any thoughts???

I think he's trying to say that if it is mounted on the generator, it is a cutout which has a high and low charge rate determined by the light switch. Voltage regulators are mounted below and their charge rate is internally controlled.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Unless someone has replaced a cutout with a regulater, I have heard of them eing mounted on the generator then.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
