Postby johnbron » Sat Feb 12, 2005 10:21 am

:?: Everybody knows what the hood-holes are for but does anybody have an answer to WHY is there holes in the oil filter drain tube cap ears/wings :?: I only know of 1-answer and that is SO they will break off faster/easier.

:D When I bought mine it had a piece of string through one hole. I assumed they didn't want to lose the cap. Wonder how many times that string caught on something and broke? Know what happens when one assumes anything! It makes an A_S out of U and ME.
Always try the easiest thing first.
