The other day I got bored, so I figured since it was 54F out I would start the machines, then I got a bright idea....

It ain't an Ariens--it's a Power King, and I sold it after I got my Loboy. The caption is a dig at one of my co-workers who had an Ariens, which HE sold when he got a Deere. The front weights are indeed identical to those on a Cub. The rear wheels on the PK interchanged w/the ones on the Cub. The Ford is a '61 641, originally purchased by my grandfather. Pictures of these little fleets are indeed pretty impressive, until someone like George Willer shows what HE has...or billieandmillie....or Ralph.....etc...

Thanks Guys. Although My dad deserves most of the credit for restoring the tractors. The Cub was kinda 50/50. He likes to fix stuff up and is always building something, and at 78 years old he is still hard to keep up with. The NAA Golden Jubilee is of course a '53 and the 40C is a three roller '53 also. The Cub is a '49. The trencher/hoe is a Case Davis 40+4. They were a bit of a special machine that National Fuel Gas orderd in a large number for utility work many years ago. they were a bit larger than a standard model. I don't recall the year on that one. We use it now and again to fix a water line or do some drainage around the place. Sure beats digging by hand!!. My dad has it running and working like new now. it was in rough shape when we got it. The Massey Ferguson with the loader is a '65? Model 35Deluxe. Is is used a lot around here for odd jobs and plowing snow. It needs to be painted and fixed up.....someday. The wheel weights on the front of the Cub are from a garden tractor as far as we can tell. They were on it when we brought it home. They fit real well and do the job. The Cub is favourite little tractor. We just put it in parades or take it to local shows. Just a fun lillte tractor to have around. I had always wanted one and we only paid 250 bucks for it. It needed dome TLC and some valve seat inserts because of water damage and neglect, but for hours or wear it's like brand new. I dought it was used much at all over the years. But we put some bucks into it. It still is not realy a show class winner, but I think it is a good job. We went thru every little part of that thing. I need to get a set of headlights this summer, and paint the precleaner cap.
