I need a scematic of the inside of a cub starter. I have been to rudis and cant find anything. I beleve I am looking for the GSS1052C manual or if any one else knows. I need to figure out where this end play is dcoming from. THANKS JON

Jezz I dont know Over on The YT Board I think someone would have taken there starter off there tractor and tore it apart and sent pics to me by now. You guys need to get with the times. LOL

To durn cold to tear apart a working starter, but if all you want to know is what keeps the shaft from moving back and forth there are spacers similiar to machinery shims on each end to contol end travel. They go on each end of the shaft to position it, and then the starter is assembled. I thought you were wanting an actual diagram.
