Need a Numbers Cruncher

Postby johnbron » Sat Jan 22, 2005 9:33 pm

:?: I dont know the formula for finding out the year an engine was made by reading the casting numbers. The casting code reads as follows. { 2-5-T } and the part# casting is [ 251341R2 ].The serial number on the flat spot under the valve cover is (FCUBM-103502). Who knows the answer to the year made or close to year built?.

Thanks a lot Rick & Lowboy for that info. I knew I had seen that breakdown chart somewhere but could not find it. I checked ATIS info page but they dont have that info, They just say to post to someone more knowledgable for the answer. I will save that TMtractor page.
