The 49 is now split to replace the main seals. Is there a reason, other than its split, to open up the oil pump? Oil pressure is good since main bearings were done last year. If opened, what shoud one look for in the oil pump. Manuals are not at home so I am guessing there is a gasket behind the cover, If so,is this still available?
