Need Mott pulley

Postby Scott Blystone » Wed Jan 12, 2005 12:54 pm

Did not realize until recently that the PTO pulley for my Mott 4' flail had dropped off sometime over the summer. Been over the fields with a metal detector a few times and even bribed the kids to look a while with no luck. Is this pulley available anywhere? I know it goes directly onto the PTO and I would guess it is 9-10" diameter.

Thanks for any help.

There was some discussion just the other day on the board. The hubs are still available through Case IH and you should be able to get one with about any size pulley you need.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

They are 8 inches, same size the Woods 42 inch belly mower uses.

Scott,
You should be able to get one at one the local Empire tractor dealerships. They are located throughout CNY. I got one last summer for around $45+ tax. Also the woods version is cheaper than the IH version and is the same thing.
