I need some help on the placement of the “drain decalâ€. If I remember it should be placed were the black circle is marked on the radiator support. (See picture)
Thanks again for all your help,
Jack Fowler

Hey Jack,
Happy New Year
...just took a quick look at Guy Fay's Farmall Letter Series Tractors.
Appendix B contains decal listings and placement instructions for all the letter series, including the FCUB. That is the correct spot...place it one inch away from where the steering gear/radiator housing bolts to the block, centered.

I was wrong the decal reads “open†. I’m doing this long distance. (I’m out of town) My dad and oldest son are putting decals on my last tractor I did, at home.
Where does the “open†decal go? (Fuel shut off/on) I don’t remember this one.
What’s unique about this tractor is it’s my Dad’s old tractor. It’s one of the ones I grew up with.
Thanks again,
Happy New Year to ALL

That would be the wrong direction for opening the fuse holder, they trun left. I think I remember form an earlier post that that particular decal wasn'r used on the offset decals, but then I ahve been wrong before, at least once so far this year.

iI put mine on the carburetorm to show which way the choke lever moves. It doesn't fit very well.
We'll see how long it lasts.
I hope it doesn't confuse some restorer 50 years from now!

If all you have is a Cub, that decal goes in the trash can. It is for the radiator shutter control on other models.
It must be for the H/M tractors. The Super A uses a similar decal for its shutter control, but this decal would be backwards for it.....
