Christmas in Dixie

Postby Bill V in Md » Sun Dec 26, 2004 8:06 pm

Heading down to Tennessee early tomorrow morning to spend a week with my Mom. It's a 12-hour trip, and I'm looking forward to driving through some awfully pretty country in Va. and East Tn. The kids, on the other hand, will be asking "are we there yet" about every half hour (hey, they're only young once).

I'll be on the lookout for roadside Cubs (I assume Bigdog hasn't found all of em). Just wanted to wish all my fellow Cubbers a Happy New Year. Hope everyone had a happy & healthy Christmas. See you again in 2005.......Bill V.

Have a safe trip. I hope all that ice and snow we heard about are cleared from your way. Wish your Mom a Happy New Year from all us on the forum. Moms are prescious and those of us with out them miss them.

Have a good trip Bill. Be sure to wave and yell at Country Elliott when you pass close to Knoxville.

Hey Bill...Where in East Tennessee are your travels going to take you? If you're close to Loudon (Exit 72 off I-75) look me up and stop by for a visit!
