Possible fix for all Cubs with Oil Pressure problems

Postby nosih » Sun Dec 19, 2004 11:21 pm

I have a feeling that if we can find a way to install this oil pump into a Cub, it will solve any and all engine oil pressure problems :D !!!!

Anyone have an idea as to what it fits??? (I do..) The oil pump measures approximately the length of a cub block, and this is just the complete main body with main gears (there is another plate followed by two more gears, and then the bottom plate)...

With double gears, my first guess is it was designed for a secondary oil pickup at the shallow end of the pan. Check the crawler parts books.

its the oil pump (main body & gears) for the TD24... Since this pump produces enough volume & pressure for the 1091 cubic inch diesel, it just might cover the needs of the C60!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Unfortunately you would need a bigger engine just to turn the pump.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
