1952 Cub for trade of Electric Golf Cart - Charleston S.C.

Postby aceteamk9 » Fri Dec 17, 2004 8:57 pm

I know this is not the right forum location but, Hello, Steven here from Charleston South Carolina. I am a state trooper that inherited a 1952 Farmall from my grandfather. It would be great to fix up, and we used to run a woods belly mower on it, but I have not time. I would consider trade for the tractor, for a good condition electric golf cart. This would be delivery of cart and pick up of tractor in Charleston area. Thanks for replys in advance and merry christmas. Will sell tractor out right for 1200.00.. No bad rust places, has been converted to 12 volts and I have NO implements. THanks again

Serious inquiries only please

Hey John,

You and Bigdog came to mind when I saw this.

John. How bad do you want another Cub? There is lowboy at the IH dealer in Mount Sterling, on hwy 63, about 25 miles east of Jefferson City. The lowboy has been sitting in their lot for several years.

I don't know what they are asking for it or condition.

Bud - my cart is gas but like John, I could start looking for a good used electric to trade. Perhaps my grandson's battery powered J.D. ride-around might work. :D :D :D

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

might have to borrow soma money form my daughter :D , but I'm always interested. do you happen to know the dealers name? Most things I've seen for sale in that area were kind of high, but you never know when I might get a surprise.

Mine is also gas, trailer hitch, lights, cover with windows, etc, and between using it around the house, and running down to the farm where my cub is stored between uses I spend more time in the golf cart than I do in my truck.

John - low boy

Postby Eugene » Sat Dec 18, 2004 5:41 pm

I will drive over to Mount Sterling tomorrow (12 miles) and take a look at the lowboy. I will also get the correct spelling of the IH dealer's name and phone number.

Post back tomorrow.
