Battery cable lengths

Postby LYNYRD » Tue Dec 14, 2004 3:24 pm

I am at work and want to pick up new battery cables +/- for my 1975 Int. Cub 12 volt system on my way home. I need to know the correct length and guage wire for each. Thanks

The long one is 84". The short one depends on where you ground it. As the article stated, I use a braided strap for ground. It is 13" long and is bolted to one of the mounting bolts inside the bottom of the battery box.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
