Can anyone tell me what this part is called? It is the block that goes into the steering housing base. There are 2 and each is held in place with a bolt. This part is not listed in the parts catalog tc-37f. I think these parts are needed for grading plow and cultivators. Anyone make repros? Was it part of an implement package or sold extra.

It's called an axle hanger bolt spacer. It is part of the grader blade mounting system and you should find reference to it in the grader blade manual. They can be easily made. Check the T.M. Tractor site under the implement photos and you'll see them there.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

ScottyG wrote:I just made two of them out of 1.5" x 1.5" x 2.5" cold rolled square stock. The hole on center is 5/8". Go to a steel shop and have the stock cut and then get yourself a good drill press. You can save yourself about $30.00.
One note: If you make your own, be sure to round all the edges. Especially along the straights of the long sides. If you don't, the setscrew that holds the spacer in place will mushroom the block and can make it hard to remove. I just beveled one edge on mine and I make sure that edge is where the setscrew (bolt) is.

looked at my 54A blade a couple of times thinking something was missing but have been too busy with other projects to look at it closely. But in the back of my (sometimes feeble) mind, I see only a bolt that is supposed to go through the tool bar mount, and that seems odd.
