Nice Christmas Muffler. Just post a story telling why you or your Farmall Cub are deserving of it :D :D :D. A picture of your Farmall Cub should be used too or just make up a good story.

The winner will have the muffler mailed to him :) (U.S & Canada Only)

Only current forum members can play. Bruce, you will have to play for Rudi until he gets out of the hospital.

Go for it :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}: :{_}:

Merry Christmas :D

ADOPT A NEEDY CUB FOR CHRISTMAS :!:

Remember the little guy that needed two front teeth for Christmas :?:

All I want for Christmas is a new muffler, a new muffler, a new muffler.

 Nice looking muffler but what caught my eye is the red rain-cap. I just might paint mine red after seeing that. My new muffler is still in the box and not near a shine`y as that one. :o

JB..the muffler has been cleaned up with semichrome polish. Its about six years old but has low hours. It will make a good muffler for someone..sounds like you don't need one though :)

Nope Mike, I dont need a muffler so I will stay out of your contest. What is semichrome polish?. Will it work on the silver grey muffler paint?. I was thinking of painting my new muffler with silver high-heat paint that I used on the manifold or a spray can of that silver-chrome paint.

My name is Larry, I belong to Bigdog (along with Curly and Moe and some others). I volunteered to be a Christmas decoration this year and as you can see from the pictures, a Christmas Muffler would really set me off. Whenever Bigdog gets off his lazy butt and restores me, I will need a new shiney vertical muffler.

Check the pictures to see how I look as a Christmas decoration:

JB, its called Happich Semichrome Polish. The only place I can find it is at the motorcycle dealers. First used it on my 441 back in '70. Its a very good metal polish you might want to try before you paint.

Are you gonna cave in to Cub-Bud :?: :?: :?:  Looks like from the response so far...He's going to have a muffler for Homely :)):

Larry...you are definately in the running here and I appreciate what you say about Bigdog. He probably hasn't said anything to you but he has a lowboy and several others he intends to finish before you.

You look great though in those lights :D :D :D . You are the Christmas Cub so don't be too disappointed in old BD

Bud, Larry is one of the cajun cubs I bought from Merlin. He has been patiently waiting at the end of the line for me to get to him. I am going to get my lo-boy repaired and maybe restored. And I have the H to get done before I will do anything to this one. Larry is a 48. I was going to sell him when I bought the lo-boy but I sold the 53 and a parts tractor so I guess I'll hold on to this one for a while.

Muffler

Postby Eugene » Sat Dec 04, 2004 10:14 pm

I'm Eugene's Cub. I don't have a muffler. Eugene doesn't hear very well. Eugene doesn't wear his hearing aids. Eugene is supposed to wear hearing aids. If Eugene wore his hearing aids he would know that I need a muffler.

Eugene doesn't wear his hearing aids. Eugene doesn't hear his wife. If Eugene only knew what his wife was saying about me not having a muffler. If Eugene only knew what his wife was saying about him. Well, maybe Eugene is better off not wearing his hearing aids.

mltemia, i used simichrome polish on aircraft propeller spinners, works well. Have you ever used flour to remove the black stuff after it dired, it helps to add a little extra shine, and makes the black easire to remove. Although it looks lik that muffler doesn't need it. Umm I need the muffler beacuse mine always looks crappy no matter what.. A feeble attempt i know, but I gave it a try anyway.

:( :( :( Eugene's cub has been dropped from the running. It was determined that : For health purposes, Eugene shouldn't wear his hearing aid, and Eugene's cub should not have a muffler. :(

Carm. the fact that yours always looks crappy no matter what, is a worthwhile purpose for getting a new muffler :) :)

Its between, Homely, Larry and Carm.

Time is running out
