Regarding IHC-2 mowing deck, sent to Rudi

Postby John Niekamp » Wed Nov 17, 2004 10:59 pm

Tonight when I was talking to Rudi on the phone, he said that someone emailed him some questions on the IH-2 mowing deck (maybe for some pictures??). Rudi couldn't rememeber if he email them back and gave them my name and email address or not. Rudi ask if I would mind posting something to try to help this person out. I told him NO PROBLEM, be more than happy to do so.

I am drawing up the whole deck, spingle and housing assembly. Right now I have the top deck itself drawn up on a CAD file in jpg format. The drawing is identical to the original deck and once I get everything drawn up and finished, Rudi will be placing my prints along with the material list and pictures on his web site, sometime over the next few months or as I finish up my CAD files and send to him. I think he said he will be placing them somewhere on the implement pages.

SO, I am asking (for Rudi) who ever the party was that was needing assistance and emailed Rudi. (provided that I can help you) Please feel free to contact me either here on the forum, PM or email me. I will be more than happy to help, in what ever I can.

AH, I found it, it was a thread that Rudi was talking about, not an email.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, here is a picture of mine. I have the two swing out "pivot" type blade assembly, not the single style, like Ghostdog was referring to. I think mine has a 42 inch cutting path, If I remember correctly.

AGAIN, sorry for getting this all screwed up

John

My blade assembly looks just like that. I'm not certain what brand it is as the ID plate is missing.

I was able to take the swing blades up to the local IH/Case dealer and they ordered me a new pair. Don't remember what it cost right off hand.
