My filter cover revisited

Postby David D. smith » Thu Nov 04, 2004 8:58 pm

I don't know if this appropriate here or not.
I phoned TM tractor to buy a good oil filter cover to replace the pot medal one that was on #3 cub that leaked. Nice people to talk to. Fast delivery and a nice good used cover.
Im not affiliated with them, Just a satisfied customer.

David,

I don't see anything wrong with posting this here, then again, who am I?

I like hearing from people who have had good experiences with dealing with suppliers.

I am wondering, your filter cover is "pot-metal" I was thinking both of mine are stamped steel. Could they have changed these at one point of time?

John

David:

It is always appropriate to pay compliments to whomever has provided you with good/superb service, had good advice or assisted in some little fashion.

Good manners always have a place in our society.

BTW, Tom is always an excellent person to deal with. He does go beyond the minimum and actually provides the kind of service that was available 20 to 30 years ago and what we seldom see today :!: :D

I agree, it is appropriate. I've dealt with 3 used equipment providers that post here (TM Tractor, JP Tractor Salvage, and Chown Tractor) as well as one new provider (Carter & Gruenwald) and have had great service from all of them.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
