'48 Cub Project: The Assembly begins.....

Postby F-I-T » Sat Oct 30, 2004 8:24 pm

I've just begun to work over the freshly bored block, installed a seal or two, and am waiting on the crank to get back from the shop. Lots of stuff in the electrolysis tank, and I found some time to put some expoy primer and my my first coat of color on some of the items. Yeah, I know it's thin, but it'll get quite few more before it's finished.

Long road ahead, but it always feels good when you finally begin assembly.

I still think the color might be too dark, so I'm going to try another. I wish I knew the Pantone number for the pre-49 red.

You are now at the point where you begin to feel like you are actually getting something done.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
