6 Volt flasher
I put a regular car type tailite on the rear of my cub along with my rear factory headlite. I have a small center off single pole double throw toggle switch mounted in the red tailite to enable me to go from red lite for road use and headlite for nite backing. Works great. My question is, I need a suggestion on where to locate a small 6v flasher as I would like the red lamp to flash. I am using the bright side of a standard 1157 bulb. works bright enuff on 6v. Thanks alot- Brian rsvp this board or: brian.piersol@fandm.edu alive and well here in PA - sorry- haven't posted recently

Brian:
Believe it or not, NAPA has that stuff stock on the shelves, at least here. It is the only place that I can find the 6v flashers that I need for my amber flashing light that I scrounged.
For some reason 6v flashing amber lights are a hard critter to find, but the flashers aren't.
I kind of hope that I can figure out how to change over the newer 12v flashing lights to 6v. Be nice as I really doubt if I will be able to find another 6v one.
Anyways, NAPA has all kinds of stuff for 6v applications - except the amber light that is...
