I'd be worried about damaging the plow. I'd probably be tempted to plow in third gear and I just don't know if those plow beams would hold up to the brute strength of the cub if the release didn't trip.

Are you burning regular gas or premium to do this?

It will pull it easy because there is no hydraulics to operate the plow.

John *.?-!.* cub owner could find a way to work it with his hand lift. He may need to start eating grits to do it.

When I was a kid we used to plow 60 acres an 8 hour day with the Cub. We pulled 4 16" bottoms, a 10' tandem disc and the harrow. That Cub sure saved a lot of passes over the field. We used to use the M for the light work like pulling the planter.

Beaconlight:

The way I see things, the first lier doesn't stand a chance.

After a hard, short 8 hours plowing, disking and harrowing in one pass I used to use that Cub and a hay rack for transportation on dates. Sure beat the mattress in the back of the station wagon.
