Light Switch Wiring
My 52' has a light switch that is rectangular as you look at it from the back, I can't figure how to wire it properly cause it doesn't match any of the pictures in my service manuals. Mine is 6 volt battery ignition (no mag.) The switch has 6 connection points the two on the right side are always hot based on my continuity check, other 4 are hot depending on switch pos. 1 or 2. Left over wires are 1 from headlight, 1 from tail light 1 from fuse housing and 1 from ammeter? How do I wire to get high and low beams and taillight correct? I was told that there are supposed to be resistors somewhere? If you havent' guessed electric isn't my best subject. Thanks for any help!!!
Cub is running again! Just troubleshooting now!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

It's a wire wound (Nichrome - I think) 5 ohm resistsor. Delco 814545. Wattage capacity is about 20 - 25 watts. It is switched in series with the headlights in the dim position.
