I saw one of your earlier posts of replacing battery cables, with photots. The only way you could have made it simpler for me was to come down here and do for me. Thanks. I'll buy cables and install perhaps this weekend and give you a report.

Mmann,

Looks like you are going to get the '51 back to specs. I think the original
wiring was awg 10 gauge if you are planning on replacing any of it. I get
mine form the local hardware and crimp and solder on the ends [heavy
gauge ends].

Don't try to get by with out soldering. I gives a much better electrical connection as well as a little mechanical help.
