Whats the difference?

What the difference between the 54grader blade and the 51A? I have both> I see the difference in the mounting, but is one better then the other? am giving one to a friend and wondering which one to keep.

Both manuals are on the server. Have a boo at them. There is a difference in the blades. I have an early blade, and have gotten ahold of the parts that I need to bring it up to the later blade which I think is the 54A.
Jim Becker or George Willer would know for sure. But ifn it was me faced with the choice I probably would keep the 54A.
