This guy has a pretty extensive list of parts for sale from this tractor. Including the tranny in a bucket. It looks like it might have been easier to make the rebuilder replace the block since they lost it. Maybe it was just an excuse to part out a worn-out tractor.

I noticed the same thing. A lot of the positive comments are terse, and a lot of them reflect that the items are much more "used" than described...
