69 cub push button start switch

Postby Joker555 » Tue Sep 07, 2004 2:34 pm

I am in need of a new push button style switch with 2 Lugs on the back.
This cub also has a turn key ignition for on and off and acc. position.
Where would be my best bet in finding this puppy?
Mine is shorted out and also sticking?? :?

That's something you should still be able to get from your friendly local IH dealer, I would think... There are still millions of tractors out there that use this type of switch.

The lighter :?:

I think probably the keyed switch has been replaced with a standard automotive switch. Granny has the ACC position also. It is a pita as I always forget that and wonder why she won't start  Gotta make sure the key is turned all the way on.

Much prefer the key switch in Ellie. Real simple - 2 positions ON and OFF :!: :D

ACC

I use the ACC switch position when I'm leaving the tractor idling to work next to it, but I want to leave the windshield wipers, the heater, and the stereo running for when I get back on.
