I have no idea but fill`er up, Set yer watch and start mowing. When you run out of gas check your watch and let us all know how long a full tank will last. :twisted:

I use about a gallon an hour in my '50 with 42" C-2 mower - more or less depending on how thick the grass is.
My worst day on a Cub is better than my best day at the office!

I run about 3/4 a gallon an hour with my D9 flail. Get a ruler, an inch = about a gallon of gas in the tank. That's not exact, but close.

I have checked mine and it is about 1 gallon per hour or per acre or
43,560 sq. ft with a woods42 on the '64 and grass about 8-10 inches
cut to 3 1/2-4 inches. That is when I don't let any grass grow under my
feet. :lol: :lol: :lol: Ha! Just had to throw that one in.

S-o-o, I guess that equates to $1.79 per acre per cutting or $0.0041
per sq ft. not to get too precise mind you.

I love this forum. Thank you Bigdog.

OK..I set my watch and started her up. Using the ruler method, I showed about five gallons. One hour later I measured the tank again...yep a little more than four inches.

One problem here though...the gas in Sierra Vista AZ is 1.99/gal. How will this adjust my cost per acre, and my operating costs. 2 net 10 = 60/1.99. I have moved the zypher one place to the left of the decimal, but it can't be that cheap to run.

Don't be acomplaining about $1.99/gallon gas.... guess what it is here?

$0.949/liter. 3.84 liters to a US gallon makes that what ? $3.64416 per gallon. And that is for regular..... hi test is $1.04/litre!

I would be GLAD to pay a measely buck99 :roll: :shock: :? :!: :!: :D

I don't even want to know what my per acre costs are gonna be :roll: :roll: :cry:
