Mine, which look fairly ancient and hence could be original, are 48" long.

The 3 on the bottom were 2" thick, the 2 on front were 1". Width was whatever the distance is between the bolt holes. I believe all were nominal lumber dimensions. Each was held by 1 bolt at each side of the frame.
