 mltiema, I just know you are joking by asking for a pic of 501 aren`t`ya?. I have been thinking about getting a new ID-Tag made for My Cub and now the thought of solving this mystery could be ended if I have the new tag numbered (501) and then I can post a picture of (501).

I'M SORRY

I couldn't stop myself. That was slightly twisted and not nice :(. I hope I won't be banished from cub.com

Here are some pictures of Cub #563. Near as I can sipher it rolled off the line the day after #501. Nothing has been added or modified.

Interesting. It says "McCormick-Deering Farmall Cub." I would've thought it would have had the circle Cub decal.

Al, I was thinking the same thing that all early 47s had the circle-cub decals. Time for another lesson I guess.

I think the lesson this time is that the tractor has been repainted.

Jim, I would agree. What's interesting is it still has McCormick-Deering decals. It must've been a very early repaint! :D
