Ned, this might be a stupid question, but do you by chance have the wear edge and the snow extnsion positions reversed? It looks as if I can see a space between the wear edge (botom) and the blade. All the ones I've ever seen actually overlapped the blade and didn't have any space. The wear edge is usually thicker material than the blade or snow extension.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

RedNed,
That really is a great looking machine.
I have my blade mid-mounted, with the drawbar reversed, or pointing toward the front of tractor. If you plan to do any grading, mid-mount is definately the optimum way to go. My 300' feet of driveway has never been smoother.
Great paint job.

Thanks gents,Yes I can't wait to mount this for a grader blade configuration. Do some grading.Get one of those old funny looken hats. Its bad enough my wife calls me Bobby Boshey(from the film Waterboy)when I drive my cub cadet around doing the lawn.
Removing and installing all the implements for the Farmall cub is a pain.I now know why George has so many cubs...Jim Becker why did I put cork back in the holes like factory did, just to remove it to install implements. It must be a labor of love. Ken Updike books were really great. those pics helped me out. Just think this cub came of the assembly line when Kennedy was president.

Ned,
7 of mine came off the line when Harry Truman was president. I think they still have a lot of life left.
