alternate drawbar
thanks for the info on what i have it is the swinging drawbar, now what is the swinging drawbar used for?

The swinging drawbar was used when pulling implements such as land drags, harrows, disks etc. It allowed you to make shorter turns.

HOw long? If it's aobut 3 1/2 feet long it could be the rod for the rear rockshaft. Shorter it might be a lift rod for an earlier blade. Go to http://www.tmtractor.com and look at their illustrations.

rod length
it's 49" long on one 90 degree turn it has a sholder on it
