Here's what happened to mt throw out Bearing,( Bearing type) with less than <2 hours. I have the orig. graphite Case/IH in now with no wear and over 5 hours on it.

That was my first thought when mine failed, but the bearing was stiff in the one I had and didn't spin freely as it should. JP said they had gotten hold of a batch of bad bearings and replaced mine.Jack Donovan wrote:That tells me that the presure plat fingers need adj.

Thanks Rudi,I restoring a L-54 graderblade now for Ned.Painting it Blue.It was missing some lifting attachments.I orderd some from Tom @TM tractor parts and they are mint. I could make them my self,but hey I can't do everything.Why should I ,when I have such a good on site supplier. Hows your grader blade coming?

How is the blade coming you ask
Not all that well at the moment.
Been in Ottawa for a week and just got back. Need to make my own derusto tank now that Gord had dunked his blade and is now dunking his cultivators
Will try and post some pics in the next few days of the blade and Granny. Blade will probably have to wait for a few weeks till I get all caught up from my sortof holiday
