Scared Me

Postby Dave Irish » Thu Jun 17, 2004 11:35 am

Hi guys, long time no post. But the cub has been running good and I have been busy. Yesterday I was going to run through the tomatos with the hilling sweeps before it rained. Anyway I spilled a bit of gas when I was filling her up, which does happen as most will agree. Hopped on and started her up. Well i guess a little gad got into the starter or starting switch. Now all of our greatest night mare. My cub was on fire. I jumped from the cub and luckily I had a barrel of water about 10 feet away as I just put in a new garden and I hate rolling up the hose. Put out the flames and waited a couple minutes..... All is well. Be carefull.

Hate to be wordy but it is raining and I have some time

Glad to hear the Martime cub fest went well.

And I have lost the threat on a couple of items of interest.

The free gas cap.

And Rudi's clutch adjustment. If I could find the info I'd be gratefull.

Thanks Dave Irish

Dave:

try this for the post: That Special Feeling

Glad that you were able to get the fire out and the Cub wasn't damaged and you were not hurt. Don't take long to have something go out of control.
