'49 Cub Ammeter & Oil Pressure Gauges

Postby Arizona Mike » Sat Jun 05, 2004 5:52 pm

Please tell me what were the original scales on these gauges in 1949.

Was the ammeter the simple C D, or graduated? Oil pressure 0-40 or 45?

Thanks

Mike

If you are reading less than forty pounds of oil pressure on your current gauge then changing to a 0-40 lb, gauge will work fine.
There is no relationship between oil pressure and cylinder compression.
