Not useless if you live in hill country. Here we crown the roads (higher in center than edges) so when we get a hard rain it runs off to the ditches, not down the wheel tracks taking the gravel with it.

On the one like it I had, I made a bracket and welded under the frame so I could use a pin for the angel rather than a bolt.

What's the difference between a 54 and 54a?

i appears that there is more than a few of these 'early' blades around. did they have a # ?? designation :?:

so i guess that makes BOTH my friend and I correct. not a #54 but certainly a cub blade. or both incorrect?

Substitute drawbar for the 54A was modified for Fast-Hitch compatibility. Some other very small changes you would be hard pressed to see.

It appears that the '48 blade did not have a model number.
