Missy is ready to go to work.

Postby John *.?-!.* cub owner » Sat May 29, 2004 10:19 pm

Our road is pretty rough after the rains the last few days, and there are more coming the next couple days, so Missy is ready to take over road maintenance. There are more pictures at http://home.centurytel.net/ejpuckett/CUB%20RESCUE/ready%20to%20work/
The paint looks a little blotchy in the photos, but is not that way in real life. Don't know if it was the low light due to being so ;ate in the evening or what.

Bud did a GREAT job.

Lookin' good John. You're gonna have to take that "(almost)" out of your signature line!

John. Looks like you tied a dirty rag around missy's new dress......
When are you going to clean & paint your blade??? Missy sure looks like
a princess now. Too bad she has to do some dirty work!

I agree, Missy looks to good to put to work, unfortunately, she has to work. it's too hard for me to keep swiching implements just so Missy can set and look pretty. I'm the only one that gets to do that. :D All my attachments are in bad need of painting, but I'm afraid if I paint them, my 48 will want painted also. Right now I'm keeping missy and Jessie in seperate parts of the shed so they won't fight.

That sure is pretty. I only hope someday to get mine to look that good. Is that the original style decal for that year? If not, what years would that have been on, if any? I like it!

Put them together. Maybe you'll end up with a bunch of "cub cadets"!!!

That style large decal was used for most of '47, all of '48 and part of '49.

ok, great. It turnes out that mine is a 48, not a 47 or 49 as I was told. I have not seen this style for sale. I've seen a couple of different ones, but not the one with McCormick-Deering. Where do you get it?

It's been almost 2 years ago that I bought them, but I think I got them from Binder Books.

I see a bunch of them at binder books, but not sure which is the right one. There are not pics of most of them. Do you recall which one it might be? Is it two different decals, or is it all in one?

 It looks like you will have to call them and ask because there is not a good description of them.

The circle-cub set might be close if you didn`t use the (C) but I wouldn`t gamble on it.

If you are really concerned about accurate decals, your best option is probably to get them from Ken Updike at C&G.
