How much "wining" should there be in the gears under load. I seem to get quite a bit, but not ever being around other cubs, I don't know what is normal.

Both of my cubs make noise in the transmission. At the first Cub-arama, I was driving past George Willer and asked him about the whine in my '55 loboy. He said that noise is common in most cubs. I think I am going to put ole' Happy "on blocks" this winter and go throught the motor and the transmission.
