PTO Gearbox

Does a gearbox exist that changes the direction of the PTO so additional implements can be used. If it exists, it would be an aftermarket thing. I knew if it exists, you guys here would know about it. Thanks.

Yes. it exists. It is a reverser / speed reducer and can occasionally be found on e-bay. Hold on to your wallet though. They will fetch $600 - $800 at auction. If you're lucky enough to find someone who doesn't know what they have, you might be able to find one cheaper.

Remember, a cub only has about 9 horsepower, so there are many things it can't power, even with the reverser/reducer.

Be prepared to spend big bucks for one, unless you get very lucky like Scruffy and I did. Now that Scruffy's engine is re-built and he has a few other improvements, I'm looking for a small PTO combine for him to play with.
Scruffy is blissfully unaware that he has been replaced as the World's Ugliest Cub.
