Norwegian cub...

Postby Feskslo » Fri May 14, 2004 11:42 am

Hi! I'm currently estoring an old Farmall Cub ('51 model if the serial numbers are correct). I live in Northern Norway, and geting parts isnt't the easyest. But now it runns and is just waiting for the right decals... You can check it out on my home page http://www.home.no/feskslo , and more pictures on http://www.home.no/feskslo/bilder.html . Sorry the page is only in Norwegian, I'll see if I can translate it later... But the pictures speaks for them selves...
:)

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

:P Nice looking Cub. Are they fairly rare in your area/country?.

I just noticed that the I.D.-Plate changed design styles from the one on my 48.
Then came Bronson

I really don't know how many Cubs there are her in northern Norway. I just know of a couple. I think most of them came to Europ in the early 50's as a part of the Marshal-help from the US after WWII.

Looking good, but be careful. These cubs can become habit forming. You'll soon be looking for another one.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

A friend of mine in Holland sells decals for the the American and French Cubs. You can contact him at h-p-s@wpx.nl
His phone is 0514-581916
His English is great. I don't know about his Norwegian but his first language is Friesian. He also speaks Dutch and some German.
His name is Ronnie Schilstra

Hope this helps.

Mike
