I don't understand all I know about that deal. The company selling it usually charges about ten times the amount for what you can get a part anywhere else for. I've called them a few times and got prices on a used Cub part and got a big chuckle from the prices they quoted me as I could bought a new one from my dealer for a cheaper price. But, they are still in business so they must be doing something right.

I paid less than that for each of my three tractors. What are those guys thinking about Come to think of it, they may not be thinking at all

that can not be real. is that auction real or can someone be pulling our leg?
I need some extra cash and would sell mine in a second and drive the cub around without one till I find a good parts tractor.

Why do those "multi bar" grills go so high? Are they that rare? Did they only come on certain types of cubs? Or was it a year thing? If the latter, it seems they would be pretty common.

At $512 that grill is more than half what I gave for either one of my cubs, and they each came with several attachmnets.

That's what it looks like when proxy bidding takes charge. If the proxy bid is high enough, it automatically makes the next bid after the challenger's highest. Actually, it's a good system... it only enters the next highest bid even though the entered bid may be much higher, and bids higher only if necessary.

jmr365 was trying to find buck785's max bid. If you look at the bid history, buck785 placed his $415 bid at 5:28. All of jmr365's bids were outbid as soon as he placed them since buck785 placed his bid first and it was higher.

Yeah, its a good system. If you are the high bidder, you cant make the bid go up by yourself. You can only change the amount you are willing to bid, if someone else outbids you. It will only bid you the minimum amount necessary to win, up to your "maximum bid". Each of those bids were cause by someone else bidding up the price.

Too complicated for this simple mind...I'll stick to Cubs.

Looks like jmr365 needs to learn how proxy bidding works. He manually entered 40 bids on the $512 grill, mostly to work his way up to an existing proxy bid.
