Having the before right above the after, really shows how much and the quality of the work you do with your Cubs. Beautiful Lo-Boy, ya done did yerself proud!
As for pic hosting. I have said it before and I will say it again, use your ISP provided webspace. You can put an awful lot of jpegs on 5 or 10 megs of server space.
example: I use WSFtp which is an FTP program used to upload data to a server.
here is what it would look like:
http://members.rogers.com/rudi01/logo.gif
which would look like this after you put in the tags:
all that took about 5 seconds. Don't have to join/register or have to cut and paste and all that stuff - real easy.
And the best part is you do not have to worry about throughput, because you are already paying for it

Do you mean that your ISP will not allow you to have a web page? Or to put files on the server? Do they not give you 5 or 10 megs of web space?
If they do provide this service, then there should be no problems. It is all in terminology. If you ask your ISP if they host pics, the answer will be a resounding no because it uses up to much bandwidth that they must reserve for their customers who pay for monthly access.
However, if you ask them if they provide 5 or 10 megs of personal webspace per customer then the answer will probably be a yes.
Let us know which is the case.
If the first instance is the case, then to do that you must use a hosting service which costs so much per month, or may be free with a bunch of limitations, ads, banners and other stuff.
If the second instance is the case, then you can use an ftp client to upload and store WHATEVER you wish on your webspace, except for a small business if you have a residential account. Soooo, then uploading any pics would be perfectly alright.
In most cases, across North America, including the US and Canada, ISP rules are pretty much the same. They cannot dictate what you have on your webspace unless it is illegal such as porn, hate literature etc., of that there ilk. Personal pics/images/movie clips are all allowed.
I would think that Earthlink would be no exception. If they are, then when their customer base becomes more informed, they will either have to offer or lose business -- I know if my ISP did not provide the space, I would be outta there!

I just visited http://www.earthlink.com and checked out the cheapest option they have which is the dialup accounts. Here is a direct quote from their dialup main page:
Sooooooo, that means you can have 8 email addys which give you 80 megs to store pics which you can then link to from here exactly as I have done in the previous post. It is all in how you phrase a question.
Your ISP is usually your best bet for storing pics on line, oh, also there is
a utility (which I do not much like, but I write in HTML which is easier for me), but this utility will help those who do not know HTML Code
On the main page I found this:
although, there may be some bandwidth limitations, and your own webspace would have none and is a better option.
Hope this helps clear things up for you and of course others....

8 email addresses—enough for the whole family
10MB of webspace per email address—up to a total of 80MB so you can create your own Web sites

Trellix Site Builder—build your Web site with this easy tool—no need to know HTML

• Low-cost digital photo and film developing!
• Share photos online—free unlimited storage!

You are truely amazing.
What happened was I emailed earthlink a copy of the email that I received from hpphoto.com saying they would no longer being doing the links to forums. I received email responses from two different customer service reps. Neither had a clue as to how to proceed to help me. They instead referred me to snapfish.com, which is supposed to be their photo guys.
I emailed the same hpphoto.com email and request to snapfish over a week ago and have not heard anything from them.
I am only half smart on my MAC , but I will try to follow through on your directions again with Earthlink.
Thank you for your detailed explanation.
I talked to my daughter last Sunday. Her friend owns a company called Rackspace, and she said they could take care of this too.
Is it warm enough there now that Ellie can sleep without her blanket?

Mike:
I just try to help, and when it comes to pic hosting, try to help keep it simple.
I think it is much easier for someone to remember something like this:
http://members.earthlink/mltiema/cub.jpg (just an example probably not correct)
than it is to remember this:
http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/AlbumIn ... 0207113&f=
(Sorry Jim, needed an example)
Remember also, after the first time or two, you WILL be able to host and link without thinking about it too much, it is like riding a bike, once learned not forgotten..... trust me - it really isn't rocket science. I do remember though how I felt when I first started - never thought I would get the hang of it, but I did and now it is second nature... and will be for you too!
