A Gold Star for Miller Tire

Back in February, I ordered a turf tire/wheel combo from Miller Tire, not an insignificant investment to say the least. The tires arrived promptly, but I didn't install them until a couple of weeks ago. Of course, before installing them I painted them silver. Well, wouldn't you know it, they didn't fit. AFter grumbling to myself about mail-order purchases, I tried hammering on the lug receivers to "modify" them to fit, no good. So here I am, painted rims, one with slight "modifications," and they don't fit. Well, I finally did what I should have done first, I gave 'em a call. After listening to my story, the fellow on the line said it was their mistake, and they'd make good on it. "Well, they've been painted silver...", I ventured. "Nope, no problem," he said. "Er, I even hammered on one just a bit......" I cringed to myself. "No, it was our mistake, we'll make good on it," he said. They then sent the correct set of rims via UPS, and I had a friend change the tires over to the new rims. I then called Miller Tire and they had UPS pick up the incorrect rims at my house. I just checked my credit card statement online a few minutes ago and Miller Tire has credited me the full amount for the improper rims IN SPITE of my "modifications."

This is nothing less than outstanding service, and you can rest assured that Miller Tire will be fulfilling any future wheel/tire needs (if they'll have me!).

:P Thanks for that info. Nice to know of the good guys to deal with.

Of course dealing with a name like Miller/Millar has to be good. "Just ask Donny".

I used to tell people that Millar was the snooty way of saying Miller. Just put your nose in the air and say Miller and it comes out Millar.

Maybe I'm incorrect :?: Maybe if you put your nose in the air and say Millar it comes out Miller.

Miller Tire has my business form now on. Takes me back in time when Service WAS King. Can't go wrong with that, whatever their name is :!: :!: :!:

Donny,

Yes, Miller makes a good bench mark when telling folks what your name is. I use it often.

Ed and Bev done good! I'm sure their treatment of Jeff will bring them some richly deserved good advertising. Well done... All our hats are off!

I can vouch for Miller as well I have bought several sets of equipment rims from them and a bunch of tires plus if he is going to be at a show in your area he will deliver them to the show for free.T.J.
