After a bit of a tussel with the front grill, Pete got pushed out of the shop for this photo op before he leaves for IH2150. :)

Image

Sure looks different than in his 'ugly' picture :!: He's using his old rear wheels and the fronts are borrowed from my '48 for his trip to the spray booth.

artc,

Looks great!

Will it be sprayed just as it is now, or will the tin be removed?

I'm getting ready to spray my '67 Loboy soon, but will be spraying in different stages, i.e. the engine first, (on engine stand, exhaust man. off),
then the torque tube, then the Touch Control, etc........basically in order of rebuild.

You must be getting excited to see the nice new Red.

i'm glad i installed and test fitted the hood before paint. getting the geometry correct was a challenge, and included removing the rad supports for straightening. the new grill needed some tweaking, and the mounting ears are not accurate. for $80, i'm dissapointed.

i'll let the paint guy decide on removing the hood, but i painted the underside of the hood, just in case with 2150

i'm itching to fire it up, for sure :D
