Here is the info I have on Bob.

Bob Israelite
Farmall Acres
239 Oak Glen Road
Howell NJ 17731

I have his email address as bisraelite@earthlink.net.

Here is a pic of the INTERNATIONAL CUB hood emblem I have and will be sending to John in a few days. Tell him I painted it with chrome paint that will need to be strippied off and repainted. He will also need to afix pins to the back as all of them are gone.

A question on the above response: What is the best way to put "new" pins on the back of the emblems? I have 2 broke and the emblem rattles. Thanks in advance.

Jamie,

It's my understanding that Bob Israelite had a liquidation auction, ceased operations, and retired to Florida. He was a good guy to deal with.

"New" pins are not available. You might try finding some nails the same diameter as the pins that are left on the emblem, cut them to length, then JB weld them to the back of the emblem in the proper place.

Well whatta ya know ... :tractor: look who they just let in.

Hey Gang!
It sure has been a while. That auction was.... really hard to do but I had get to Florida to get a kidney transplant. Switched from saving old tractors to having to save my life. Don't know if y'all remember but I sold the farm, house/contents, an amazing collection of hard to find Cub stuff, 'loaded' F20, F12-14 and the King of the farm the 1955 400 w/f on 13x38s, race car, classic cars, antique trucks, rollback, .... EVERYTHING.

Just between you and me ... I had a ton of fun, collecting, restoring, buying, trading and selling stuff with you guys over the years.

Bob I.

Damn! A day late and a dollar short.
Bob when was that auction, last August???
How the hell did I not know you???
Wish you were still here, I would have liked to have met you.
I'm on Squankum Yellowbrook just a stones throw from the high school. I'm the guy who puts the santa on the tractor pulled by reindeer out front every Christmas.
Would have been nice to get with someone in my neighborhood that was as butt deep in tractors as I am.
Glad to hear your doing well in the sunshine state though!
Mike

If you look at the date of the original post, it was 2004...just a few years ago!!! Good to hear from you, Bob!

Hi Mike,
I know where that is. I used to 'follow the Yellowbrook road' right on down to Doug Kaufman's farm. Kids went to that school. I can't remember your place exactly but don't forget I left Howell in Oct. 2003.

The real live Santa would take pictures with the kids at Agway in Lakewood every year. I would flatbed a big old shiny one there every Christmas and Special events. Wife and kids worked there and Agway sponsored My Wall Stadium Street Stock race car.

I have some pics from the auction and Agway events, see if I can dig them up and post.

BTW, I was way more than butt deep in iron and steel .... LOL

Anyway ... here is the car, maybe you remember it if you went to Wall Speedway back in the 90s-00s.

2003? I moved from locust rd to the new house in 2004. I was bit by the tractor bug about 2-3 years later. You probably would have been a bad influence on me.
Didn't get to wall raceway much in those years.
Before that my wife's uncle Pete Cobb used to race there along with my old boss and friend Bill Allerton.
Probably good you moved because Fazio's steel and iron works are in the process of moving there business to about a mile down on Squankum Yellowbrook road. It's too close now.
I foresee myself spending a lot of time and money there.

Locust ... Did you know Gordon and Margret Price? He had great old tractors rusting away. Wouldn't part with any. He passed and they were gone. I wanted that Oliver77 bad at one time.

Grange #218 on Rt.9 ?
