Hey,

I just thought that I would pass this along. I found out tonight that my ATV jack that I use for my Harley and four-wheelers also workd great for lifting a Cub engine. I have a cherry picker but it buried in another mess. Plus I like the fact that I can roll the engine where ever I need to and it don't take up a lot of room like the cherry picker does.

I used a couple short 2 by 4's across the lifting rails just under the oil pan. One near the front and the other near the back It's real steady, BUT I did hook up a safety chain up to the rafters, just to be on the safe side.

John

PS: Don't pay any attention to my terrible mess, my WHOLE garage is this way, just ask my wife.

My web page at Yahoo, must not be able to take to amny hits at once, so here is where this picture is suppose to be at:

John N,
Being from Quincy, ever run across a guy named Lefringhouse?
He collects Farmalls. The letter series, and, I believe he is looking for cub #4.

John; I just live up river from you, in Oquawka Ill just north of Burlington. Just wondering what year Cub are you working on? I have a 49 which I tinker with. Do you have only one Cub or more?
