Last saturday I acquired a quick attach, single point, pto driven flail mower for my 55 cub. The only identification was a International Dealer paper sticker, that the dealer name and address was faded off. Was this mower made by International or possibly Mott? I'm in the process replacing the bearings and oil seal in the gear box and would like to find a parts book. I'm not sure, but I think this might be kinda rare and when I spotted it in the farm equipment salvage yard I just had to rescue and restore it. Aren't these cubs fun. Honest honey it just followed me home!

As far as I know, Mott was the only source for a Cub flail mower. The gear case will probably check out as matching the Cub belt pulley drive. If so, the bearings and seals can be found in the Cub Parts Catalog.

Check Rudi's website:

Good luck with it, I've had one for years that I use for mowing the weeds along the woods. Doesn't throw rocks and sticks but it will wrap up vines like honeysuckle, greenbriar and fox grape like a threading a bobbin. Been there, done that.

You ought to try unwrapping about 30 feet of Gaucho (high tensile strength) barb wire out of a Mott.
