Brakes on Lo-Boy

Well it looks like I am going to have to put brakes on the Lo-Boy I am in the process of doing a working restoration on. and I have neaver had the brake systym apart on one of these, is it the same as a regular cub or is it different ?

Looking at my parts manual, it appears the difference is the way the rod exits the housing.

Pulled the finals off it today and it had new bands on it who eaver put them on did not tighten the set screw that locks the woodruff key in and the drum on the left side had moved in enough so it was not locked to the axle.

If that's the only problem you had, you're lucky. A loose setscrew usually results in the center of the drum being worn to the point the drum has to be replaced.
