Dave:

Lookin' good :D

I gotta try and find me a decent disc harrow. Sure would negate having to use Dad's tiller on the Massey

Nice looking plot of ground too

Dave, pictures and cub both look good. Just curious, does it have one of those fancy GPS guidance systems, that lets it drive itself? :D

I was going to ask where you found the back half of a Bissell disk, but I suppose they are all over the place in your area.

Hi Dave
Looks great, I like seeing that flat open space, as well as your work with the cub. I have 17 acres 3 hilly field and 14 acres wooded. Paul K in N.H.

Yes the land is nice and flat, and the soil is SANDY. I am basically on an old beach. Lake Ontario is about a mile and a half north of me. I pulled that disc out of a niebours junk pile. Cost me a case of beer.

Disk was closer than I thought.

I am originally from the area about 50 miles (80 km Canadian) due south from you (straight line across Lake Erie). I used to pull a 6 foot tandem Bissell field disk with a Farmall B in mostly clay soil. Your disk looks identical to the back half of the one I used. I would expect a 6 foot single to go real well with a Cub in sandy soil.

She pulls it pretty well, depending on how much weight I put on it and how wet it is. I also can adjust the angle to go deep or let it off to chop.
