Postby Ralph » Thu Mar 18, 2004 9:46 pm

:D I guess I will paint it yellar since like BigDog said Rusty needs a buddy in the barn that matches him. 8)
and as Bermuda Ken said the serial is in line for yellar.
NOW :?
I have never seen a Lo-Boy painted this color
SO :?:
The big question is what is yellow and what is white :?:
Color numbers I put on the 65 Rusty are
Yellow 759-3263
White 5339-01
I can't find any pic of one on the web either.
Thanks Ralph

A great original IH picture of the yellow painted cub low boy is on page 44 of my cub-cub cadet book. If you really want to have fun, paint it orange like on page 45.... :D

The yellow paint is 759-3263 (cub cadet brand) or use Federal Yellow (the more correct color) from case-IH.

Yes Federal Yellow is the correct color of yellow paint that IH used on the Cubs, Cub Low Boys and Cub Cadets.

Good luck with the tractor! Remember that key to a perfect paint job is preparation. Take your time doing this and be thorough about it and the end result will be beautiful.
