Trip to Ct.

Postby Joe Malinowski » Tue Mar 25, 2008 7:39 pm

Took a trip down to the fine state of Ct ,man had a fast hitch on Craigslist. Well it was not complete but I could not come home empty handed. With the great bargaining skills I got a assorted bunch of parts and pieces plus the frame for a fast hitch. I can't take the credit for the wheeling and dealing Batty 54 was along for that. Not sure what some are.

Bob,
Not to worry, I pulled my '57 F-Cub out of Wilbraham, MA.
I think we're better than even.

Hmmmmm,
Better be careful bringing the '57 LoBoy back from Cecil's though.

Peter be careful I would hate to see you get into trouble on the Ma. Pike for unlawfully transporting a cub over state lines. I am sure we can cook up some sort of fine or just impound it. I guess this means my next trip needs to be done under the cover of darkness. The guy I got that stuff from has a 53 F cub he is looking to sell. Not bad but I think he is a bit high of course it is Ct.

Geeze, I even had the parts you needed for fast hitch, but Space Ghost got em for his Lo Boy. The only thing left of that fast hitch is the bail and brackets...

Thanks! I spoke with him & it turns out to be a very late '47.
If anyone else is interested, he is looking to move it & is very flexable with the price.
