More Snow!!!

Postby cowboy » Fri Feb 29, 2008 3:40 pm

Wee got more seat time. Hard to believe how much more fun it is to push snow with the cub that it is with the yamaha :D 8) I was even able to get the cub up on the pile. Almost got stuck when I pushed too far and the front tires went over the pile  Good thing I have chains. And I was able to back off the pile.

Looks like you had a great time. I think I'm ready for spring though.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I am ready for it to warm up and get dry too. Just got the word that work is planing to start the second week of april. So I have a lot of work to get done before then. As This time the job site is 197 miles west of my house. I guess it is just inside of michigan north of Michigan city IN.

I just got done plowing 8" of heavy wet snow with the jeep(4x4 w/lockers & tire chains).

Come on i just ordered my seeds to get them started. I think its going to be a bad march with plenty of snow yet to come for us.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

I was doing the exact same thing on my piles Cowboy. Running out of room to push it to so good thing the Cub can push a big pile like that. Luckily a lot of it melted this weekend and today although it's supposed to get cold again!

They are calling for freezing rain sleet and them 3-6 possibly more inches of snow here it the next 2 days   . I am sure glad the new clutch is in and the double set of rear weights is on. Maybe I will get some more seat time :D . Hopefully without tearing anything up this time.

Billy:

The weather people say we got 20 cm's or so, about 8-10 inches of snow saturday evening and sunday morning. Took till 630pm to get dug out... so with the winds of 100kph.. drifting etc., the 3-4 feet of snow in my driveway made for some serious work. Blew the linkage to the augers on my blower, Ray's Ram 1500 with the Fischer blade only was able to get about 75 feet past the pole barn.

They are now expecting a dusting of an inch or so tonight and another foot on Wednesday.

By now we must be well over the 200 inches mark and March is usually our big snow fall month. We could be in for another record year...

I likes it, but darn it would be so much better ifn I had the blowers for Ellie and I hadn't fallen off the ladder... dang... all that snow and now way to get seat time.. too much snow for Ellie to push :(

We got nothing! All of our snow melted away with the rain today. Maybe in the morning.

I vote with the "I'm Sick of Winter" crowd. They're forecasting 1/4" of ice tonight. Can't even plow that.
