Yep! It's true, Cub #3

Postby Peter Person » Sun Feb 17, 2008 9:30 pm

Here's the 1957 Int'l Cub LoBoy that I bought up near Albany, NY last week after seeing the ad in the Cub Vine forum.

Image

It has a complete Fast-Hitch and a really cool implement that came with it. I brought this home to use yet this winter on our gravel driveway. What is the model name & number of this implement?
Image

Unfortunately it also sat in too many New York winters.
Image

Now the question becomes, which do we keep, the 68 LoBoy "Moe" or this 57 LoBoy that would compliment my 57 quite nicely. Keeping all 3 is not part of the equation! We left the 57 LoBoy at Cecil's for an upcoming minifest to split the tractor and see what's up with the clutch.

Peter,

Let's see, you and the boys have a Cub each, what about Emily and the rest of the family? :) :) You folks are starting to get it bad. Enjoy!!

NICE ONE PETER

I've got the same 100 blade on one of mine. I've played with it enough to know there's not much you can't do with it on the Fast-Hitch. Very precise grading is possible.

Are you a Cub collector :big afro:

No, you ARE a Cub Collector. Careful now, larger garages, Cub sheds and display rooms cost more than the Cubs :D

I think you answered your own question here Peter. I also like that grill better than any others. Scot

Ohhhh I feel your pain.

Just to let you know, you can mount that Mott mower on the fast hitch Lo Boy. I believe it does take away from the full travel of the fast hitch, but will work.

We could figure out a trade for that blade too??

Nice tractor!

Peter,
Nice looking find. I'd love to have one of those blade... guess I would need to find a fast hitch too.

Anyway, the blade is a Model 100 rear blade. I found this reference to it in Rudi's manuals. http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/Ad's,% ... 60's%20Cub%

And here on TMs website:

http://www.tm-tractor.com/gbrochures/100blade.htm
